PALM AVENUE CDBG PROJECT, ORANGE, CALIFORNIA
The City of Orange retained Kabbara Engineering to prepare final construction plans, specifications and estimates for this Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded street rehabilitation project. Kabbara Engineering performed the field survey and geotechnical investigation, and prepared pavement recommendations, plans, and profiles for the total reconstruction of this Asphalt and P.C.C paved street as required to mitigate the severe surface drainage problems occurring at the existing railroad crossing. Project included design and permit coordination with the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA)/ Metrolink for paving, drainage and traffic control work in and near their existing Right-of-way. Project also included utility coordination, Traffic striping, and tree trimming. Project was completed on schedule and within budget.
